Wesla Whitfield

SOhO 1221 State St # 205, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Wesla WhitfieldThe Santa Barbara Jazz Society is proud to present one of America’s premier artists, vocalist Wesla Whitfield in concert at SOhO. Jazz Society President, Ian Bernard writes: “About 14 years ago I did a summer symphony tour with Michael Feinstein and the opening act was a singer named Wesla Whitfield. Her choice of songs, her pure tone, and her presentation gave new meaning to the word perfection. I then heard her again at the Algonquin Hotel in New York and again was in awe of her interpretation of songs you’ve heard before in a combination of Cabaret, Jazz, and Broadway. Wesla and her pianist husband, Mike Greensill, will delight you with their brilliant arrangements of the American Songbook. This is a rare occasion! Don’t miss it!”
