The Nominations are in for the 2016-2017 SBJS Board of Directors. View their respective bios. Elections will take place sometime during the Annual Members Party at SOhO from 1:00 -4:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Let’s celebrate the season with an afternoon of fun and music, as we usher in the new 2016-2017 Board and another great year of jazz.

It’s that time of year again, so get ready for our annual Holiday Party to be held from December 13th from 1 – 4 pm at SOhO. It will be a Jam Session, so this is the time for all you closet vocalists and musicians to strut your stuff.  At our last party, we had some great music and lots of fun with participation from members and guests alike with some surprisingly talented folks taking to the stage. Just be sure to bring your instruments and singers bring your charts. We will have a fine house band to back you up: Woody DeMarco on piano, Hank Allen on bass, and Rusty Cummings on drums.

SOhO will furnish their usual delicious food and drink. Admission to the event is $10 for current Jazz Society members. $25 for non-members. If you join or rejoin for 2016 at the door, your Holiday Party admission is FREE! We hope to see you there to help start the holiday season off with a little jazz.
